Each stack is carried onto its dataset's reference grid and fitted into the reference's brightness units, then shown with one display stretch measured once per dataset. Crops cover the same patch of sky for every tool, usually 160 sensor pixels square, and are shown at the same size whatever the output scale, so 1× results show their pixels and 2× results show their extra sampling. A crop's size in sensor pixels is shown on its button.
